For us, experience design starts with the visceral and aims to deliver on user needs emotionally as well as functionally. It's the magic, the intangible something that just makes the experience / communication / interaction or whatever special or memorable
A structured, very human and simple approach to creating things lets us design experiences that deliver in both pre-cognitive and cognitive spaces. Our instincts set our bias towards things and we qualify those biases with reasoning, making triggering the bias a key part of design
